Marine Conservation: forging effective strategic partnerships was the theme of this year’s annual conference of the European Cetacean Society (ECS) which was held in La Spezia, Italy, April 6th to 10th, with the help of Eulabor Institute/ Waterevolution and with Tethys as a scientific partner and organizer of two workshops:

“Important Marine Mammal Areas (IMMAs) across the Mediterranean Sea” and “Mediterranean Grampus Project 2.0”.

Several talks were given and posters were displayed by the staff of Tethys
