Highlights from the latest cruise: CSR 7

Some moments of the cruise from 26th June to 2nd July:

First day: thanks to better weather conditions than forecast, two amazing fin whale sightings in the pelagic area and lots of breaching striped dolphins

Second day: morning excursion allows us to sight two groups of playful striped dolphins. We celebrate our unexpected luck with the “traditional” home made dolphin-cake!

Third, fourth and fifth day: bad sea conditions, but they won’t bring us down! After a visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco,  the amazing fried pizza made by our captain and the positive spirit of the whole crew result in everyone dancing on Pelagos’ stern!
