Dedicated workshops for science students wishing to gain experience in the field

and for people interested in pursuing a career in marine mammal conservation

Tethys courses and workshops are run by experienced teams of biologists. A dedicated course is particularly valuable for science students wishing to gain experience in the field. While the courses are ideal for anyone with an interest in wildlife and marine conservation, some special dates (CSR_01 in May) are designed for students or people interested in pursuing a career in marine mammal conservation, and involve additional lectures on cetacean conservation and applied field methodologies (including photo-identification, behavioral sampling and remote tracking).

A certificate of participation will be issued for every student.

Please note: in the student workshop English will be the official language on board

University students get discounted fees (for the workshop and also for most “ordinary”departure dates) and can possibly obtain tuition credits (e.g. ECTS).

A certificate of participation will be issued for every student.
